 Weigh Scales Ensure Accurate Counts and Error-proof Labeling 

1. Weigh Scales eliminate manual counts, errors and guesstimating
2. SPEDE interfaces to scales to receive the weight for piece counting or full-pallet validation 
3. Adjustable tolerances accommodate piece weight variances
4. Scale can be connected via RS-232 or TCP/IP 
5. Part level piece weight, layer count, total pieces 
6. SPEDE calculates Tare weight; records net weight

  Option:  Using Weigh Scales + Vision to Count Parts

1. Keyence Vision Sensor is controlled by SPEDE
2. Vision Sensor is "trained" to recognize a particular part number by a unique characteristic that it has  
3. Part must pass vision sensor for validation; if correct, then to weigh scale for count
4. Weight verification ensures part is placed in dunnage 

Weigh Scale triggers a label

1. Automatically prints a label when weight/ count is correct
2. Option: displays “print button” on Touchscreen when weight/ count is correct  
3. Operator touches “print button” to print the label 

Actual weights are collected and stored with the label data in the SPEDE SQL Label Database

SPEDE Label Database can be queried for:

1. inventory 
2. traceability
3. auditability
